Nibble Entrepreneurs “Las Carolinas” are the Masa queens of Somerville, mixing up ground maize flour to make their Venezuelan Arepas, toothsome savory corn pancakes stuffed with different fillings to make sandwiches that are dangerously addictive. A first for our Nibble classroom, this dynamic duo is excited to teach a kid-friendly class. Parent-child duos will mix, form, and cook these yummy corn flour pockets as well as concoct the Pabellon filling; shredded Venezuelan beef, plantains, cheese, beans, and their famous basil mayo sauce! This is a class for foodies of all ages taught by incredibly charismatic cooks: Carolina Garcia and Carolina Salinas, both natives of Caracas. Let’s all put dinner on the table and have fun doing it!
Ages 5-12 recommended. Cost: $20 for Kids, $30 for Adults; price includes cooking class and full sit-down meal.
