Do you or a member of your staff need to become ServSafe Certified? In MA, every culinary business needs at least one person with food safety manager certification.

This course is 8 hours, which includes approximately 6 hours of lectures/training (with several short breaks and a 30 minute break for lunch), followed by 2 hours of time allotted for the ServSafe Exam.

Our instructor is Ciaran Nagle, co-founder and owner of Foundation Kitchen, himself a certified trainer for ServSafe.

Materials: The price of the reservation includes the rental of a ServSafe Manual (required for every person taking the exam), the course materials (including practice tests), and the exam itself. 

If you register for the course more than 72 hours in advance, we will send the book to you so you can study. Please keep in mind that the book needs to be returned in the same condition you received it - only use pencil if you use the practice exams in the book! (Or better yet, write on a separate piece of paper!)

If you receive the book in advance to study, remember to bring it to the course with you!

Online Exam Option: If you would like to take the exam online and receive results immediately, please indicate select that option in the form during checkout. You must bring a wifi-enabled laptop to the training.

Please note: If you select this, there will not be a paper exam on site for you, so make sure you do not forget your laptop!

Lunch: There are not many options in the area for lunch, so the price of the reservation includes a light lunch from one of our amazing Foundation Kitchen members. 

Parking: We have limited parking available in our lot on the days of these exams, however there is ample street parking in the area.  You can also take the Orange line to Sullivan Square or any of the many buses that pass us on Washington Street (#86, 88, 89, 91, CT2, etc).

Private/Corporate Classes:  We can schedule ServSafe courses at your business or as a private session at Foundation Kitchen. Contact us for more information and for a price quote for this.
